PTR TOF MS (Proton-Transfer-Reaction Time-of-flight Mass Spectrometer) is a versatile tool for fast and sensitive measurements of trace Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) at a high time resolution.

Features:

• Real time quantitative analysis of the entire mass range of Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)

• Detection of all compounds with higher proton affinity than water using H₃O⁺, as Primary ion. Hence N₂, O₂ , Ar, CO₂ etc in air are not detected.

• Option to use Kr⁺, which has higher Ionization potential than H₃O⁺, as Primary ion

• Detection and quantification of substances (including inorganic) such as NO₂, SO₂, CO₂, CO are also possible using Kr⁺ as Primary ion.

• Detects upto 1000ppbv

• Mass resolution: > 2000 m/Δm (FWHM) for m/z > 79
